A unique identity
We seek to capture the purest essence of the unique vineyards that make up one of the most important wine regions in our country. The origin, the landscape, the diversity of the terroir and each variety give our wines their distinctive character.

We seek to capture the purest essence of the unique vineyards that make up one of the most important wine regions in our country. The origin, the landscape, the diversity of the terroir and each variety give our wines their distinctive character.
WINEMAKING PER PLOTS
The vinification and ageing by plots allows us to increase our knowledge of each vineyard and its environment. The start of the harvest is determined by each vineyard individually, respecting the times of each vine. Harvesting the raw material only at the optimum moment helps us to get to know the essence of each plot.
PRECISION IN EACH DETAIL
The winery works with the utmost respect to maintain the essence of each site. The wine is made in containers of between 500 and 4,000 kilos. We work with controlled spontaneous fermentations with low intervention: temperature and gentle and very controlled extractions to achieve the bottling of each landscape.
RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT AND PATIENCE
Until the end of the ageing process, the wine continues to be separated by plots. The blending of the different varieties from each vineyard allows us to respect the tradition of the region's vineyards.
INTERPRETING RIOJA ALAVESA GRAPES
In order to achieve the maximum expression and uniqueness of each plot and with the aspiration that Leza be recognized as a reference locality, we classify our wines in: Singular Vineyard, Municipality Wines and Zone Wines.

The AIURRI facilities are located in the historic center of Leza. Two buildings, connected by a subway tunnel, have been completely renovated respecting and preserving the patrimonial identity of the municipality.
THE WINERY
The main building, which exceeds 3,436 m², has been designed and built to respect as much as possible the natural gravity winemaking processes and the original characteristics of the raw material. Along with the winemaking areas, there are also plans to create new social spaces, facing the Sierra de Toloño, where people can learn about and enjoy the vineyards and our wines in greater depth.
THE BOTTLING AREA AND OFFICES
The second building houses an area reserved for offices, as well as the laboratory and the bottling area.
These facilities are designed to transmit the uniqueness of our vineyards in the most honest way.

The essence of AIURRI is found in the vineyard and in the commitment of the people who make up the team. Their talent, dedication, ability and passion are decisive to understand and transmit the character of the terroir and the identity of each grape variety.
AIURRI has a small team, but with great qualities that contribute every day their knowledge and sensitivity to deepen the roots of a historic vineyard. Only with respect for the natural, cultural and patrimonial legacy can we understand the origins in order to continue writing the viticultural history of this environment.
Each person at AIURRI makes a daily effort in the field, in the works of viticulture and recovery of the old vines and in the winery. The aim is expressing and transmitting what this unique and historic terroir has to offer in each winemaking process. All of them make up this great family, doing the greatest asset for this company its human team.
